Nintendo and 3rd parties

i have seen people say if nintendo got them they would be unbeatable well see heres the thing the one console that they had didn't sell well that got a lot of 3rd party support(no all of it) was the gamecube and currently until the wii u finishes its term in nintendo's game office the gamecube is nintendo's worst selling home console. yet had exclusives like sonic adventure,sonic adventure 2,resident evil remake,resident evil 3 remake,metal gear solid remake,resident evil 0,mega man battle network and for some time resident evil 4 by far id say the best resident evil. and gave birth to some of the best games in some of their series f-zero gx,animal crossing,melee,double dash,pokemon colosseum,XD gale of darkness,pikmin,wario ware,luigi's mansion and eternal darkness. and yet the system failed. now it could have failed for other reasons(it did miss out on final fantasy 10,11,12,metal gear solid 2,3,kingdom hearts 1,2 and soul calibur 3) point is nintendo can get these 3rd party titles but because in the public eye they have not been seen with them to much that even when they do get them people don't care. well most people don't. its not that their system isn't powerful(well not fully) its not cus of their controller cus they have different controllers for the wii and wii u to use for people who didn't like the wii remote or the gamepad. its not their online for 3rd parties cus the wii u has pretty good online for 3rd party games and even some of their own 1st party games to. i personally believe most of the reason no matter how much 3rd party support they get they will never sell on their systems is due to nintendo being so detached from 3rd parties for so many years that people don't see them as a place to get 3rd parties. sure you could get some people but majority probably not. nintendo could say"we have Mario Kart,Smash Bros,Zelda and Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed" but no would care. despite looking the exact same on xbox and playstation people pretty much assume that they play and feel worse on nintendo consoles cus these are mature titles and have big time graphics and nintendo in the publics eye(mainly thanks to the wii in some cases) that they are about worse graphics and are for kids so people who play these 3rd parties stay away even when nintendo has them cus they wanna stay on in the crowd and people on the in crowd play playstation or xbox not nintendo. the only way i see nintendo become what they once were is to bring their image back to being for everyone and not just for kids. they need mature IPs they need to shake this image. I'm gonna sound crazy but nintendo(while keeping most of their IPs the same age range) is to change their image to focus on hardcore only. casuals don't care about games as much as hardcore gamers do like myself. cus thats what sony is doing and look at how much the PS3 has sold? look at the PS2,PS1 and how well the PS4 is doing. if nintendo can change their stragey and image and get some new blood into the company. this gen may be over for nintendo to get full 3rd party support. but if nintendo can prove to the 3rd parties next gen they are worth it than i can finally get 1 system. instead of getting 2. i love nintendo and i think wii u is the best console for me this gen but nintendo after the wii u needs to learn its not the 90s anymore. Sega is out and microsoft and sony are way more aggressive at getting consumers to change than them. and that they have to change with the times. roll with the punches. but anyway thought id get this out there. don't call me a hater. some will anyway sorry if its to long or if i have talked about this before just had some new key points i wanted to bring up.
