Miyamoto wants to focus more on core games

well turns out mr. miyamoto the creator of mario,zelda,donkey kong and star fox and many other IPs says that he no longer wants to focus on casual games that he feels casual gamers are well boring and by casual gamers he means people who buy nothing mobile games you know parents,grand parents the crowd the wii and DS focused mostly on. he said that he wants to focus on Hardcore gamers as these types of people have far more interest and respect for games. he said that he is no longer making casual games. like Wii Fit,Wii Sports,Brain Age Nintendogs ect.(not that he made those series) he instead wants to focus on more hardcore games. and he also mentioned that nintendo is actually focusing more on hardcore gamers with its future projects. and will continue to do so. 

now while i want to believe this its hard to say if this is going to happen or not. i mean nintendo can focus on the hardcore gamers and games all they want with their own IPs but most 3rd parties have already dropped nintendo as they (like ubisoft) have said people do not buy their games on nintendo consoles. so even if this is true which i can kinda see it being the case nintendo needs more than core nintendo IPs they need the 3rd parties as well but again i say as long as the hardcore gaming consumers see nintendo as a place NOT to get these great 3rd party games this view will never change. so its up to nintendo to make the right moves. it may be to late this gen but next gen if nintendo can pull a rabbit out of their hat that was the original SNES and NES 3rd party support for their next gen console and future consoles i can see a bright future for them and not just them but for the entire industry. and it will finally be down to 1st party and 3rd party exclusives between the big 3. not one system getting ALL the games and one not getting any of them.

but again we shall see. proof is in the pudding nintendo. can you make that pudding good? or will you turn it sour.(probably not a good analogy but whatever)
